Martin South named president of Marsh’s U.S. and Canadian division

The insurance broker and risk advisor also said it has realigned its businesses in the Asia-Pacific and Middle Eastern regions.

Insurance broker and risk advisor Marsh, a subsidiary of New York City-based professional services company Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc., announced Thursday that it has appointed Martin South as president of its U.S. and Canadian division, effective Sept. 1.

South will report to John Doyle, president of Marsh, and will be based in Marsh’s New York City office. South will oversee Marsh’s U.S. core brokerage, businesses in Canada, and portfolio of U.S. businesses.
