Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer Aspen Insurance, a division of Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd., has appointed Sean McPhillips as senior vice president and head of its U.S. primary casualty operation.
Based in New York, McPhillips will lead the planning, strategy and execution of the primary casualty operation throughout the United States and will report to David Cohen, Aspen’s president and chief underwriting officer.
"Sean is ideally qualified to lead our U.S. primary casualty operation based on his expertise, strong relationships, and thorough understanding of the market," Cohen said in a statement.
