Memphis, Tenn.-based Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc. said it has agreed to buy OSG Group, an outsourcing services company based in Dublin.
Terms were not disclosed, but OSG employees will become part of the international operations of Sedgwick and its Naperville, Ill.-based subsidiary Vericlaim, which Sedgwick acquired in 2014.
OSG provides property and liability loss-adjusting services, as well as third-party administration, motor and specialist claims, customer support and staffing services to clients in Ireland and elsewhere, Sedgwick said in a news release.
“As a sophisticated insurance and financial services center for much of Europe, Ireland was a natural fit for the next stage of Sedgwick's growth beyond North America,” Sedgwick President and CEO Dave North said in the news release.
OSG has more than 400 employees in eight locations across Ireland. Sedgwick employs about 13,000 at 275 offices across the United States and in Canada.
The transaction is expected to close in June, subject to customary conditions and approvals, the company said.
