The National Association of Insurance Commissioners has ranked the top 25 Workers' Compensation insurance companies and groups by market share of direct premiums written for 2015.
Direct written premiums totaled just shy of $57.2 billion for the top 25, an increase from 2014's $54.92 billion. The top 25 carriers accounted for 69.15% of the total direct premiums written, with the top 10 bringing in 46.23%, or about $26.44 billion. The top four carriers represent just under a quarter (23.42%) of total direct premiums written.
The top 10 carriers remained the same as in 2014, but with different rankings.
