Zurich-based property and casualty insurer Chubb Ltd. said it has appointed Richard Britain vice president of transactional risk, and Edward Markovich and Randy Hein as senior vice presidents of transactional risk. Britain joins from DWF, where he was a partner. Markovich joined in 2014, and Hein joined in 2015.
Ken Toney, owner of the Jacksonville, Fla.-based Brightway Insurance franchise for Heathrow, Fla., said he has acquired a Brightway agency in Altamonte Springs, Fla. Terms were not disclosed.
San Francisco-based retail property and casualty insurance brokerage and employee benefits consultant Edgewood Partners Insurance Center said it has named Brian McDonnell managing principal of its newly formed construction specialty group. He joins from Wells Fargo Insurance Services, where he was senior vice president and director of construction services. McDonnell will be based in the company's Concord, Calif., office.
