As with many businesses, insurers are looking for growth opportunities, and the expansion of the Cyber insurance market is just one opportunity that carriers are exploring. But what effect does that expansion have on the carrier's credit rating? It's a topic of concern to agents and brokers as they assess the strengths and weaknesses of the companies they want to place business with.

National Underwriter Property & Casualty recently sat down with Simon Harris, managing director of global insurance, for Moody's Investors Service to discuss the 2016 market outlook for Cyber insurance, the effect of the product offerings in this line on carriers' credit ratings and the carriers' own operational risk.
