Boston-based insurance brokerage Risk Strategies Co. said it has acquired Englewood Cliffs, N.J.-based independent agency Lester Brokerage. Terms were not disclosed.
Bothell, Wash.-based insurance software company Vertafore said it has acquired Concord, Ontario-based commercial management software company Keal Technology. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of March. Terms were not disclosed
Bonita Springs, Fla.-based Rosier Insurance said it recently provided on-the-job training for the most recent Disabled Veterans Insurance Careers class. The Fort Meyers, Fla.-based nonprofit provides insurance career training for disabled veterans.
Chicago-based insurance brokerage Hub International Ltd. said it has acquired the assets of Anchorage, Alaska-based independent insurance agency Gwaltney & Associates Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Gwaltney's president, Dave Gwaltney, is to join Hub Northwest and report to Steve Wagner, senior vice president of Alaska.
Hub said it has also acquired the assets of Wilmington, Mass.-based employee benefits provider BenefitsMart LLC. Terms were not disclosed, but BenefitsMart's founder and president, Jean Russell, is to join Hub New England.
Tokyo-based property and casualty insurer Tokio Marine Management & Insurance Cos. said it has appointed Fair Lawn, N.J.-based jewelry insurance agency Jewelers unBLOCKed as managing general agent for its jewelers block insurance coverage in the United States.
White Plains, N.Y.-based middle market agency Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC said it has acquired Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based independent insurance agency Celedinas Insurance Group. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
