Memphis, Tenn.-based Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc., said that it has appointed Ericka DeBruce vice president of engagement, inclusion and social responsibility. She joins from International Paper, where she was global diversity and inclusion manager.
The Risk Institute at the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business in Columbus, Ohio, said it has appointed Huntington Bank Chief Risk Officer Helga Houston chairwoman of its advisory board. She succeeds Mike Mahaffey, chief strategy and chief risk officer at Nationwide, who served as chairman since the board’s inception in 2013.
St. Petersburg, Fla.-based independent insurance agent Anchor Insurance has appointed John Wortman president and Kevin Pawlowski chief operating officer. Wortman joins from the Florida Citizens Insurance Corp., where he served on the board of governors. Pawlowski joins from MP TotalCare, where he was chief executive officer. Both appointments are subject to approval by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation.
