Premium rates remain flat or down slightly for preferred classes of mono-line pollution business in the Environmental insurance market, according to Willis' 2016 Marketplace Realities report.
In addition, sustained construction activity and soft market conditions have fueled demand for Contractors' Pollution Liability products and Builders' Risk coverages, especially in conjunction with wrap-up products, Willis says.
With demand high and customers becoming more educated on Environmental cover, expertise becomes increasingly valuable in a market that's keeping a watchful eye on claims.
