The Minneapolis-based Insurance Marketing & Communications Association (IMCA) said it will host the next edition of its Leadership Webcast Series on Tuesday, Feb. 16. The program, “Agents, Brokers and Carriers — the ABCs of B2B Communication,” is to be presented by Jeremy Barnett, senior vice president of marketing at Los Angeles-based NAS Insurance Services LLC. The one-hour live program, which begins at 2 p.m. Eastern, is free for IMCA members and $49.95 for everyone else. Registration for the webcast series can be done at IMCA webcasts.
Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Workers' Compensation outsourcing services company Patriot National Inc. said it has acquired Richmond, Va.-based Mid Atlantic Insurance Services, a wholesale brokerage and program administrator. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Patriot National said it is gaining 12 new carrier relationships and 1,100 new retail agencies.
Muncie, Ind.-based Praxis Consulting Inc., a provider of subrogation services for insurance carriers, self-insureds, reinsurers and third-party administrators, has announced that it has successfully completed the SOC 2 Type II audit to ensure adherence to best-in-class cyber security compliance.
