Who do customers think are the best auto insurance companies? Insure.com surveyed current customers of 20 large car insurers to find out how they rate their insurers on five important measurements. While finding the lowest price is important to many car insurance shoppers, customer satisfaction is important for many consumers making a decision to keep or switch insurance providers. The annual Insure.com survey asked customers of the selected car insurance companies what they think of their insurers' prices, customer service and handling of claims. They also asked customers whether they would recommend their insurance company to a friend and whether they plan to renew their current policy. The auto insurance industry is loaded with big companies, but owning a large share of the market is no guarantee that your customers are satisfied. The 2016 results reveal that some car insurers are creating lots of happy customers, while others are not as successful.
