The Los Angeles-based Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) was formed in 1994 to help communities and enrich lives by providing grants, volunteer service and leadership.
The tax-exempt public charity is funded and directed by insurance industry professionals from a wide range of markets.
One of IICF's most successful campaigns is its Early Literacy Initiative, which began a three-year partnership with Sesame Workshop on its "Every Day is Reading and Writing Day" project in 2013.
