The Spencer Educational Foundation, Inc. hosts its seventh annual fundraising gala on Sept. 17, 2015, at The Waldorf-Astoria New York. For their contributions to the advancement of risk management and insurance educational opportunities, the Foundation will honor Dean M. Klisura, Managing Director, Global Industry Specialties & Placement Leader, Marsh, and Christopher A. Maleno, Senior Vice President, ACE Group and Division President, ACE USA. The honorees will be recognized by more than 750 risk management and insurance executives, who also will be celebrating industry education.

“These individuals are role models for the next generation of industry leaders and their companies are, and continue to be, dedicated supporters of the Foundation and advocates for industry education,” said Brion Callori, Chairman of Spencer Educational Foundation. “We invite the industry to join us in September at our Gala Dinner to celebrate their accomplishments as we continue to raise awareness and support for risk management and insurance educational programming, scholarships and grants.”

The Spencer Educational Foundation, a nonprofit organization affiliated with RIMS, is a global organization that provides funding for the education of risk management professionals. Since 1979, undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students, as well as practicing risk professionals, have benefitted from more than $5.6 million in scholarships awarded by the Foundation. The Foundation has also awarded grants totaling more than $3.25 million to educational institutions that offer risk management curriculums.
