J. P. Perry Insurance announced that former vice president, Tim Irish, has been promoted to president. In his new role, Irish will oversee all areas of the agency's operations. Irish has more than 20 years insurance industry experience and has served in both the commercial and personal lines for several national and global insurance brokers. Former president, Joe Perry, will assume the role of CEO and will focus on strategic planning, product line acquisition and marketing.

J. M. Wilson announced the appointment of Kayley Dana as transportation underwriter. Based in the Charleston, SC office, Dana will focus on quoting new and renewal transportation risks, and will serve independent insurance agents in Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. Dana most recently completed an underwriting internship at an insurance company in Raleigh, N.C.
