Idaho employers have new online tool to track status of drivers’ licenses

Idaho businesses can track the status of an employee's driver's license and get immediate information about convictions and suspensions, better managing risk.

Idaho Transportation Department hopes new driver record dashboard will help keep dangerous drivers off the road.

Many businesses—not just taxi and limousine companies—need to know the status of their employees’ drivers’ licenses at all time. These business can include the office supply company whose drivers regularly make deliveries as well as the consulting company whose employees often travel to client sites, occasionally with other employees or clients in their vehicles.

Now Idaho businesses can constantly track the driver’s license status of employees, thanks to a new online tool from the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD).
