While it’s too early for any damage estimates, here are some images of the tornadoes that swept across northern Illinois last night.
One person was killed and eight others injured.
Residents are advised to contact their insurance company as soon as possible, document the damage to their homes and businesses, remove any debris that can be moved safely, and tarp and/or board up damaged roofs and windows. Authorities will determine when it is safe for residents to enter the area.
