One of the biggest challenges in dealing with heavy snow is feeling safe and doing our best to avoid automobile accidents.

eBay Motors recently asked 1,400 people from the northern 33 states (1) which type of vehicle they currently drive; (2) how safe they feel when driving in the snow; and (3) their opinion on 13 specific vehicle models. They also asked automobile experts for their input on each model's safety features.

The average age of the survey respondent was 30 years old, and 71% of those participating in the survey were male.

You might be surpised which type of vehicle respondents usually drive in the winter. Hint: It's not an SUV.
