Arik Rashkes, of Houlihan Lokey, was hired as managing director of the firm's Financial Institutions Group overseeing the insurance sector. He also brought along Juan Guzman as senior vice president of FIG from his former post at Blackstone.
Homeowners Choice Property & Casualty Insurance Co. President Scott Wallace is planning to retire after 37 years within the insurance industry. Paresh Patel, current CEO and chairman of HCI, will take over for Wallace.
