Aon Risk Solutions announced the appointment of Jay Moroscak as senior vice president of the Cleveland, Ohio office. The firm also appointed Donna Revis as senior vice president and senior account executive for Aon Risk Solutions' Construction Services Group in the San Francisco, Calif. office. Andrew Coll joined the company as vice president of business development in the Philadelphia Pa. office, and Aon appointed Melissa Dunn ad vice president of business development in the Pittsburgh, Pa. office.
The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation announced that its general counsel, Belinda Miller, received the Robert Dineen Award for Outstanding Service and Contribution to the State Regulation of Insurance. The award was bestowed by the National Assn. of Insurance Commissioners.
York Risk Services Group announced Bijan Bijarchi joined the company as vice president of Risk Management Practices.
The Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC) announced its 2014 industry award winners at the 177th annual IIANC Convention held October 26-29 in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Jeffrey H. Haney, president and partner of ECM Solutions in Charlotte, N.C. was named the 2014 Agent of the Year, and J. Fletcher Willey Jr., president of The Willey Agency in Nags Head, N.C. received a Lifetime Achievement Award. Other notable awards include the 2014 Young Agent of the Year, presented to Jamie Lowery of Senn Dunn Insurance, the 2014 Broker of the Year, presented to Johnson & Johnson in Charleston, SC., and the 2014 Company of the Year, awarded to National General Insurance in Winston Salem, N.C.
Neil Lipuma joined Hiscox as senior vice presidents for Hiscox USA. IN this underwriting leadership role, Lipuma will oversee strategic direction, as well as sales and marketing activities for Hiscox' Private Investment Fund Portfolio.
