We love to know what other people make, it’s sort of like seeing into the homes of the rich and famous or knowing what kinds cars celebrities drive. This month we’re sharing the results of our Claims salary survey.

We asked our subscribers about their job satisfaction, the number of hours they work in an average week, the benefits they receive and a host of other questions. A total of 368 people responded from firms with average sales ranging from under $100,000 to over $50 million. We have the results of the survey for you beginning on p. 24. The good news is that the majority of insurance professionals are happy with their jobs and see good things for the future of the industry. They are a little concerned about the coming shortage of workers because insurance professionals and what they do are some of the best kept secrets around.
