New Programs
Travelers expanded its capabilities with TravPay, a pay-as-you-go billing tool. The new program combines an employer's payroll processing with its workers' compensation insurance payments, enabling small business to better manage cash flow and eliminate the estimation of traditional workers' compensation premium plans.
Lockton and Burns & Wilcox Brokerage designed the Protection Against Income Disruption (PAID) insurance program to provide companies with tailor-made insurance policies that address coverage gaps under their standard property policy. This program allows for businesses to protect their income stream without having suffering physical damage.
Mergers & Acquisitions
AssuredPartners Inc. acquired the assets of Turner & Hamrick LLC, an insurance agency headquartered in Troy, Ala.
