W.R. Berkley Corp. appointed John K. Goldwater as senior vice president. James B. Gilbert will succeed Mr. Goldwater as the president of BerkleyNet underwriters.

The Global Federation of Insurance Assns. appointed Governor Dirk Kempthorne as its new chair. Governor Kempthorne replaces Frank Swedlove, and will serve a two-year term.
EMPLOYERS named Martha Collins vice president of regional sales for the eastern region. Ms. Collins brings more than 19 years of experience to the role.
