Intermap Technologies released its InsitePro v2.2, Intermap's Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) location-based risk assessment product for insurance underwriters worldwide. The latest version includes a new underwriting module that provides property insurance underwriters with the means to evaluate individual locations for flood risk and other perils anywhere in the world.
The Motorists Insurance Group selected Guidewire InsuranceSuite as its new platform for underwriting, claims management, billing, and rating and policy administration. The company also implemented Effisoft's WebXL to cut drudgery, save time, provide business intelligence and ease compliance.
IVANS Insurance Solutions honored Donegal Insurance Group with the 2014 Interface Leadership Award for the company's technology adoption and position as an industry leader concerning commercial download adoption.
Towers Watson designated Intelligent Mechatronic Systems (IMS) as a preferred usage-based insurance provider for their DriveAbility clients. The relationship leverages Towers Watson's DriveAbility 2.0 score, an analytical scoring model of UBI data provided from IMS' DriveSync connected car platform.
Erie Insurance selected Guidewire Software Inc.'s ClaimCenter as its claims management system. The solution provides Erie Insurance with a highly configurable system with a top tier industry analyst rating.
