AssuredPartners Inc. partnered with Liazon to launch Assured Options, a private health insurance exchange for clients of AssuredPartners. AssuredPartners will use Liazon's platform to bring clients to the exchange, which offers new health care options to organizations and their employees.
Swett & Crawford announced the addition of a brokerage arm to their Energy Practice Group. The brokerage side of the group will partner with JH Blades to offer a full menu of capabilities in the energy marketplace.

Applied Systems presented its annual Pinnacle Awards to an elite group at Applied Net 2014, the largest independent agency and brokerage technology conference held at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort this year. The 2014 Pinnacle Award winners include Assurance Agency Ltd., Beneficial Insurance Services, Brown & Brown Inc., The Hartford and Megson FitzPatrick. Recipients were selected based on their embodiment of the spirit of the award, characterized by innovation in product development, the power of partnerships and the ability to deliver tangible results to their organizations and the industry.
Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet) announced it is changing its name to Applied Client Network to more clearly communicate the user group's identity and value to members.
