Mike McGavick named "Insurance Leader of the Year"

St. John's University will honor XL Group CEO at annual dinner

St. John’s University’s School of Risk Management (SRM) will honor XL Group CEO Mike McGavick as the “2014 Insurance Leader of the Year” at its 20th Annual Insurance Leader of the Year Award Dinner.

The event is to take place on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 6 p.m. at the Marriot Marquis in New York City. Brian Duperreault, CEO of Hamilton Insurance Group, and Michael O’Halleran, executive chairmen of Aon Benfield and senior executive vice president of Aon plc will serve as honorary co-chairmen of the dinner.  Proceeds from the event will support St. John’s University’s SRM program and students.
