Zurich North America created a private equity unit within the Global Corporate in North America business entity. Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. expanded its wildfire platform to include response services, which include the application of fire-blocking solutions to a policyholder's home and surrounding vegetation.

CBIZ Inc. acquired substantially all of the assets of Rognstad's Inc., d.b.a. Sattler Insurance Agency, based in Lewiston, Idaho.
