The MetLife Foundation awarded 12 grants totaling more than $250,000 to Junior Achievement (JA) operations worldwide with the aim of instituting innovative, entrepreneurial programs to help young people thrive economically. Eight JA operations won the 2014 MetLife Foundation 'Entrepreneurial' Award for successfully implemented programming, and four additional JA operations won the 'Sowing the Seeds of Entrepreneurship' Award for their advances in promising, but untested program concepts.
