Mergers & Acquisitions
Hub International acquired the assets of Ballard Insurance Agency, a Melbourne, Fla.-based brokerage. The acquisition allows Ballard to deliver a full-service commercial line solution and broaden its expertise in personal lines insurance.
AssuredPartners Inc. acquired The Wright Group Services through its subsidiary, AssuredPartners of Colorado. The Wright Group Services operations are based in Denver, Colo., with additional locations in Eagle and Colorado Springs, Colo.
New Programs
SCI Underwriting Management announced the availability of four new products, including property (ultimate cover), nursing home auto coverage, crime coverage for PI-ULT-009, and nursing home cyber liability benefits.
IronHealth, specialty healthcare unit of Ironshore Inc. will offer the first insurance policy designed to protect self-insured employers and workers' compensation insurance carriers that opt not to seek approval by the Federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for workers' compensation Medicare Set-Aside Arrangements.
