Mergers & Acquisitions
Cross Insurance acquired Merchant, Needham & Assocs. Insurance, an independent insurance agency based in Northeast Harbor, Maine.
USI Insurance Services acquired New Jersey-based BHB Insurance Services. BHB is one of the largest indepenent insurance agencies in the state, and is known for its community associations practice group.
Shareholders of Jenkins Insurance Services sold 100% of their shares to Edgewood Partners Insurance Center (EPIC). The transaction closed on July 17, 2014.

K&K Insurance Group Inc. announced a new program with enhanced coverage options for venues and facilities including arenas, amphitheaters, auditoriums, civic centers, coliseums and more.

All Risks Ltd. was honored with the Broker of the Year award by the Maryland CPCU Society Chapter during its annual Employer Recognition Crab Feast. The Chapter honors agents, brokers and carriers to show their appreciation to employers that have provided support to their employees who are pursuing the CPCU designation.
