CoreLogic released a new version of its EQECAT natural catastrophe modeling platform which contains three new proprietary risk models that qualify and analyze the financial impact of catastrophic natural hazards in at-risk regions around the globe.
AIR Worldwide released Version 2.0 of its catastrophe modeling software platform, Touchstone. The new version includes the ability to account for catastrophe and noncatastrophe risk in a single platform, providing a more comprehensive view of risk.
Mergers & Acquisitions
Xchanging acquired Total Objects Ltd., an insurance software provider, for a potential consideration of up to $36 million. The acquisition is subject to clearance by the Competition and Markets Authority, and would continue the development of Xchanging's insurance business and technology enablement strategy.
