Former West Virginia Governor W. Gaston Caperton III was engaged as a senior advisor to USI Insurance Services to advance the USI's overall growth strategy in the West Virginia, Kentucky, and Virginia offices. Allstar Underwriters Inc. (AUI) acquired the Managing General Agency, South Atlantic Underwriters Inc. South Atlantic will merge with Allstar Underwriters and operate under the AUI name.

Ironshore Inc. added Hamilton Re as a subscribing insurer to the Iron-Starr Excess Agency Ltd. Iron-Starr currently underwrites on behalf of Ironshore and Starr Insurance & Reinsurance Ltd.
