RIMS unveiled its new website design, featuring streamlined navigational menus for easy access to valuable resources.
The website's new features stem from feedback collected over the past nine months from the Society's key stakeholders, including members, volunteers and staff regarding the site's strengths and weaknesses. Through the functionality audit of the site, improvements have been made to increase functionality, including enhanced search and mobile capabilities and better navigation.
“RIMS prides itself on delivering cutting-edge risk management research and tools to help practitioners advance their risk programs and excel professionally,” said RIMS executive director Mary Roth.
The website boasts several key enhancements, including:
- One-click access to RIMS' risk management network
- Fewer advertisements to reduce distractions
- Membership Profile access on every page
- Centralized professional development and events pages
- “Breadcrumb” navigation allowing visitors to retrace page visits
- Device responsive/mobile friendly
- Social network sharing capabilities
“The website's new layout showcases this commitment and has positioned our existing, valuable risk management content prominently while offering links to articles, reports and our Risk Knowledge library on every interior page,” Roth said. “We're obviously very proud of this new design and are confident it will satisfy our membership's evolving needs.”
