What do firefighters, police officers and claims adjusters have in common? They are all dedicated to helping others in times of need.

For insurance professionals, however, the word "hero" rarely enters into the equation, despite all they do to make challenging situations easier for their commercial and residential customers.

That's why Enservio, a developer of claims processing software, on Tuesday launched a new web video series entitled "Making it Right" showcasing real-life claims professionals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty for their clients.

"These first responders are typically the first people a policyholder sees after disaster strikes and are an incredible source of comfort," said Christine Washburn, Enservio's senior vice president of marketing in a statement announcing the series. "In working with the industry's top carriers, we were stunned, humbled and honored to hear of the efforts many claim professionals took on behalf of their policyholders. 'Making it Right' shines a light on the character, patience and resiliency that these professionals show every day while servicing customers."
