Industry Veterans Inducted into Risk Management Hall of Fame

RIMS and AIG induct Lucky Gallagher and Chuck Magazine into Risk Management Hall of Fame at Annual Conference & Exhibition

Lucille "Lucky" GallagherThe RIMS and American International Group Inc. (AIG) inducted Lucille “Lucky” Gallagher and Charles “Chuck” Magazine into the Risk Management Hall of Fame at the RIMS 2014 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Denver, Colo. This is a posthumous award for Magazine, as he died in 2013.

The Hall of Fame serves to maintain the history of the risk management field and recognizes risk practitioners who have made significant contributions to advancing the discipline. Criteria for membership include achievements, innovation and trend setting, demonstrated leadership, character and service, as well as the highest level of ethical and professional conduct.

“The prominence of today’s risk management profession is a credit to industry leaders like Lucky Gallagher and Chuck Magazine who, throughout their careers, have continuously gone above and beyond,” said RIMS executive director Mary Roth. “It is an honor for us to announce this year’s Risk Management Hall of Fame inductees and recognize them for all that they have achieved for RIMS and the profession.”
