Engle Martin & Associates, Inc., a national provider of independent loss adjusting and claims management services, is expanding its technical offerings through the acquisition of another national provider of specialized services for the insurance industry.

The company has acquired Atlanta, Georgia-based PT&C Forensic Consulting Services (PT&C Forensics), which offers a range of services to assist in special investigations, including forensic engineering, fire and explosion origin and cause, subrogation, and expert testimony.

“[This] acquisition strengthens our service capabilities for our customer base and significantly expands our technical expertise,” explains John Quinn, president and CEO of Engle Martin & Associates, Inc. “Our strategy has always centered around meeting our clients' needs, and adding these key, complementary services allows us to respond to our customers more effectively.”

Founded in 2005, PT&C Forensics has grown its national presence to more than 35 locations across the U.S., with additional offices planned in 2014. PT&C Forensics' professional staff is licensed in all 50 states and has assisted clients with claims in more than 27 countries.

President and CEO Grover Davis, along with the existing executive team, will continue to lead the company, which will maintain its independent management structure.

“We believe our clients will quickly recognize the value of our collective resources,” Davis says. “Consistent with Engle Martin's approach, PT&C Forensics' client-focused model delivers an unmatched combination of quality and service through our team of professionals.”
