Travelers has launched an online cyber security portal that provides customers access to data-theft education and specialized cyber policies.
"Travelers Cyber Security" includes tools to help evaluate cyber exposures, a review of common consumer protection laws (49 state breach laws, USA Patriot Act, EU Data Protection Directive, etc.), and direct links to cyber-policy agents who can point clients towards a product tailored to their needs.
During October, the portal will also post weekly cyber security tips for National Cyber Security Awareness month, promoted by the Cyber Security Alliance in an effort by the U.S. government to help consumers and organizations assess cyber security resources.
