Mapping firm Esri has released an interactive map of the powerful 13-day California Rim Fire, which has already charred 311 square miles. As of this morning, the fire was 32-percent contained and listed as the fifth-largest wildfire in the state's history.

The Rim Fire Perspectives Map contains three different views of the fire. You can explore which areas and infrastructure are threatened by the fire; how the fire has progressed; and where fires have burned near Yosemite in the past.

More than 4,900 firefighters are battling the blaze, at a cost of at least $47 million.
