The Innovation Group announces that following an extensive business assessment, the company is relocating call center operations, which primarily provide first notice of loss (FNOL) service, from Springfield, Mass. to Chicago.

Recent trends in CAT events, including Hurricane Irene and Hurricane Sandy, have highlighted the dangers of locating business critical operations in disaster prone areas when an immediate response must be guaranteed. Therefore, Innovation Group has made the difficult decision to relocate primary call center operations to be nearer to the company's North America headquarters in Rolling Meadows, Ill. This move is intended to help ensure continued top-quality service on a 24/7/365 basis for all Innovation Group customers.

"We regret this relocation will cause a loss of jobs within our team in Springfield," says Lewis Miller, Innovation Group's North America CFO and acting CEO for the company's business process services. "We will be working to support the impacted employees during the coming months to help as many individuals as possible to secure another employment opportunity. All options are being considered, including the relocation of some employees to the new facility should the situation be mutually beneficial."
