How did you determine that insurance was a viable career choice?I originally wanted to be a science teacher. While at college I began working as a receptionist for a local Nationwide insurance agency. I knew nothing about the insurance industry. It wasn't long after I went to work that I began to develop an interest in the industry. Insurance gave me the opportunity to work with people daily and educate them on protecting some of their biggest assets. I decided I wanted to own an agency and changed my major to business later that year.
