Thirty-one percent of P&C insurers expect to make investments to add, replace or enhance their agent/broker portals this year, according to a recent Strategy Meets Action (SMA) report, “Distribution Management Portal Insights.” SMA founder Deb Smallwood says most of these investments involve enhancements of existing portals, but almost 10 percent of insurers are adding new portals or replacing existing portals entirely.
