All five insurance commissioners running for re-election fended off their challengers in Tuesday's balloting.
These include Karen Weldin Stewart in Delaware; Wayne Goodwin in North Carolina; Monica J. Lindeen in Montana; Adam Hamm in North Dakota; and Mike Kreidler in Washington.
Stewart, a Democrat, won 233,352 votes or 61.1 percent of the total votes cast, while Republican candidate Mobley won 140,669 votes or 36.8 percent of the total votes.
