ACUITY topped the list of insurers ranked by agents and brokers for ease of doing business in Deep Customer Connection's 10th carrier performance survey. More than 7,000 independent agents and brokers ranked more than 200 property-casualty carriers based on 11 factors evaluating how easy it is to place a business with that carrier, something 99 percent of agents reported is a crucial part of how they choose carriers.
The Top 10 index is as follows:

- Central Insurance Cos.
- West Bend Insurance
- SECURA Insurance
- Cincinnati Insurance Cos.
- Chubb Group of Insurance Cos.
- Grange Insurance
- North Star Mutual Insurance Co.
- Selective
- Westfield Insurance and Integrity Insurance (tie).
West Bend made the top 10 list in all 11 factors, followed by ACUITY and Central earning distinctions in 10 and SECURA in nine. Carriers use this data to make focused improvements and invest in areas where they can see the greatest return. Agent comments provide specific suggestions that complement the hard data.
