Driving successful claims outcomes begins with a solid education in the fundamentals. To this end, The Institutes has developed two new courses to equip claims professionals with the knowledge to facilitate accurate, timely, and efficient handling of catastrophe and workers' compensation claims.
The first course, Catastrophe Claim Fundamentals, is a self-study online offering that provides an overview of scoping losses stemming from catastrophic events. The second course, Workers Compensation Claim Practices, underscores policies and standards within the workers' compensation system, along with techniques to investigate coverage and medical issues.
The workers' comp course is available in print or in the self-study online format. As the newest track in the Associate in Claims (AIC) program, the workers' compensation course will equip participants with an understanding of practices, medical benefits and the nature of such claims to drive results in a complex environment.
