For the vast majority of main-street FEC businesses, market capacity is still strong.

Mike Peverill, president and CEO of Pev's Paintball, says he hasn't had any problems securing the coverage his paintball center needs. But he notes his rates have been trending ever higher.

Insurers are "trying to get price increases of anywhere from 5-25 percent," concurs Mike Beckman of Beckman Insurance, a go-kart specialist. "By and large, across the board, we're seeing an average jump of about 10 percent."
