Florida Insurance Scam Leads to Arrest of 'America’s Most Wanted' Fugitive

A fugitive on the lam for 29 years was arrested as investigators were questioning his wife for insurance fraud.

The routine investigation of a suspicious homeowners’ insurance claim led to the arrest of a federal fugitive who has been wanted for almost 30 years on multiple counts of child molestation and incest.

The U.S. Marshal’s Service arrested Charles Leon Parker, 69, a fugitive since 1983 and an alleged sexual predator wanted in Douglas County, Ga. for three counts of child molestation and two counts of incest. Parker’s case was aired on the “America’s Most Wanted” television show in March 2006.
