The routine investigation of a suspicious homeowners' insurance claim led to the arrest of a federal fugitive who has been wanted for almost 30 years on multiple counts of child molestation and incest.

The U.S. Marshal's Service arrested Charles Leon Parker, 69, a fugitive since 1983 and an alleged sexual predator wanted in Douglas County, Ga. for three counts of child molestation and two counts of incest. Parker's case was aired on the "America's Most Wanted" television show in March 2006.

The Florida Dept. of Financial Services' Division of Insurance Fraud has also filed additional second-degree felony insurance fraud charges against Parker and his wife, Roseann Healan.
