The early March outbreak of tornadoes that whizzed through the southern U.S. and Ohio Valley region left homeowners stranded without roofs and contents that formerly helped fill happy homes.
In sifting through the rubble following such a disaster, claims adjusters must painstakingly piece together the reality that once was in order to accurately process the resultant property contents claims and speed the policyholder's road to indemnity. This often involves relying on incomplete or non-existent home inventories, which obviously complicates matters for insureds and the claims professionals assisting them.
With this in mind, App-Order.com now offers “Save Your Booty,” an app for Android designed to facilitate the procurement of detailed home inventories. This means that insureds can log precious items before disaster strikes so that claims adjusters can later assess losses both accurately and quickly, the company says.
