Software provider Prima Solutions announces the availability of Prima Insure V7.2, the latest version of its customizable contracts and claims management application for life and non-life insurance.

This new version now supports the configuration, distribution, and management of a new insurance product: mobile phone insurance. Managing the catalogue of mobile phones, creating a proposal, and underwriting a telephony insurance contract, recording the first notice of loss and managing claims are now standard functions provided by Prima Insure V7.2. In addition to the telephony insurance support, this new version also provides about 200 enhancements.

For the front-office distribution side, the management of distribution networks is fully modernized: new intuitive graphical interface to configure distribution networks and their hierarchy, ability to sell insurance products on behalf of a distributor, and the capacity to fine-tune the relationships between distributors and underwriters.

For the back-office side, Prima offers further expansion of the search function, support for life insurance packages in savings products, upgrades and enrichments of the claims management process, documentation management improvements, etc.

“Just five months ago, the last major release of Prima Insure brought an important technical refactoring, especially with the redevelopment of the life and savings products using a rich client interface technology,” says Guillaume Lasnier, vice president software engineering for Prima Solutions. “Today, this version is largely enriched functionally with support for mobile phone insurance products but also many new features. The support for telephony products, developed in partnership with one of our clients demonstrates our ability to industrialize customers' specific functions into supported and maintained products.”
