Brady Polansky will step down as chief executive officer of NetVU as the Vertafore users group makes an organizational change, the groups chairman said today.
In an e-mail to NetVU members, Gray Nester, NetVU chairman and senior vice president at BB&T Insurance Services, says the organization has eliminated “the leadership role of chief executive officer in lieu of executive director.”
Because of that decision, Polansky will leave the organization as of Dec. 16.
“During his tenure as CEO, Mr. Polansky has accomplished many things, including replacement of our communications platform—eCommunities, growing our corporate partners and developing a nationally shared industry playbook,” Nester wrote.
Polansky joined NetVU, then AMS Users' group in 2008. Prior to that, he was director of agency operations for Westfield Insurance responsible for industry relations, agency education and automation.
Prior to Westfield he was chief technology officer for Dawson Companies in Ohio and was an insurance agency owner prior to that.
Nester says the association is conducting a search for an executive director.
Requests for additional comment from Nester and NetVU were not immediately returned.
Commenting to NU Online News Service, Polansky would only say, “It has been an honor and a privilege to be associated with the group for more than three years and it is a real satisfaction knowing that I leave the association better than I found it.”
Based in Irving, Texas, NetVU represents over 15,000 independent insurance agencies that use Vertafore agency management systems and software products.
