As Hurricane Katia appears set to spin off to sea after bringing tropical-storm conditions to Bermuda, Tropical Storm Maria has formed and is moving west across the Atlantic.
Katia, currently a Category 1 hurricane, is expected to pass between Bermuda and the U.S. East Coast tonight and Thursday. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) has issued a tropical storm warning for Bermuda.
